How much will it cost?

That's always going to be the bottom line. In general, your charges for a full video production will fall into 4 categories, depending on how much of each category we perform.
  1. Pre-Production. Costs include script writing, story boarding, scout locating, talent scouting and casting, and other general task included in "getting the ball rolling". For the most part, our clients are very involved in this process and it rarely adds up to more than 5% of the total cost.
  2. Production. This is the filming stage, whether it's live videoography, voice-over recording, staged or un-staged b-roll, interviews, etc. Billing can be as low as $120 / hr for simple, live event videography.
  3. Post-production. Editing. Please see our Editing page about this.
  4. Duplication and distribution.  If you are creating a simple web-video, this cost in minimal. But even DVD duplications are inexpensive today, especially in volume.
