​Steffenie is our multi-talented production assistant who came to Athens just last year after transferring from Kennesaw State University to The University of Georgia. Outside of the office, she is also a freelance photographer and videographer, and is constantly adding to her film camera collection. When she’s not in class fulfilling her entertainment media studies major and women’s studies minor, she’s either taking care of her rambunctious cat named Crouton, or helping us out with basically everything in the office. She loves rock climbing, caprese salad, and may or may not have binge-watched the entire series of Orange is the New Black in one week. (Can you blame her?) - Steffenie is the part of our team that helps keep everything in check and reminds us to embrace our inner love for salt and vinegar chips, Dave Matthews Band, and anything Buzzfeed. Emily is our fun-loving full time editor who feels completely awkward in front of the camera because she is so use to being behind it. Emily graduated from UGA with a degree from Grady College of Journalism in Mass Media Arts along with a minor in Film Studies. She is a die-hard fan of The National [band] and a lover of all things live music. Emily has the travel bug, and has been to China several times. In fact, on her last trip to China she was stung by a bee on top of the Great Wall. She declares that her body runs on iced coffee and raisin bran. Emily [slightly] obsessed with her two-year-old lab-shar pei mix, Bear, and loves to go on a daily run through Athens. We [really] enjoy having Emily in the Athens Video office!
