Be sure to attend the Kids Film Festival April 6 or 13 at Cine. We are compiling the submitted films onto a Blu Ray disc to play, and we also made this little trailer.

Another busy weekend as we prepare to film the annual Perfectly Polished Spring Formal at Stegeman Coliseum. AND as if that wasn't enough, we'll be filming and webcasting the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair at the Classic Center. We are very thankful for all the interesting and diverse jobs that come our way. A "man-on-the-street" interview style video for New Haven Baptist Church for their series "God's Not Dead" Over the course of the last year, we have been working with UGA Extension to create videos to support their Centennial Anniversary, in addition to creating an Extension Training DVD with videos and other support material that they created. It has finally rolled out - take a look at their website and you can see some of the Centennial Interviews we filmed and edited. . UGA Extension YouTube Channel UGA Extension Centennial Website We recently worked with the Athens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority to create a 30 minute historical overview video. It was a great experience and we learned a lot about this very important organization in Athens, Georgia. Please visit their website to read more about them.

Once again, we worked with Family and Consumer Sciences at UGA to create a video to show at their annual banquet for the Honor Hall of Recognition. This year's recipient is Dr. Gene Brody. We took a new approach with this year's video, which was both challenging and interesting. Emails were sent to Dr. Brody's colleagues around the country to see if they would do Skype interviews. Those who were able to participate logged into Skype, and we recorded each interview here at Athens Video. Afterwards, we edited them all into a video that could be shown at the banquet. In all, we recorded 10 interviews from around the country. It was a new and unique approach to the "award recipient" video that we will probably see more of in the future.

We are happy to help with any phase of a production, whether we filmed it or not, so when East Athens PT asked for our help, we were able to take their raw video, add some graphics, export it for the proper video format, and give them a data disc with all the final videos. Then they uploaded them to their YouTube channel and embedded all the video in their website.
