Athens Video has done live streaming with one camera many many times. And we have done multi-camera live edits many times. BUT we have never done a multi-camera live edit and streamed it at the same time, until last week. Norton Construction, a division St. Gobain, wanted to do a live event in coordination for a product launch for the new Clipper Cut Off saw.
We had already created two videos for this new saw (a U.S. and a European version) and this event was the premiere for the new video plus a demonstration and explanation for Norton employees and the sales force. It was a great success. We can't show you the video (it's for internal use only) but we can show you product videos.

Athens Video recently entered and WON  a video contest sponsored by Elementary Safety.com. The goal was to create a video promoting fire safety awareness and encouraging families to create an escape route. The winning entry (based on votes) won $2500 for the school of their choice, which we chose to donate to Barnett Shoals Elementary School. You can view the winning video here.

We will be filming this event once again this year. For this conference, we film each speaker over the course of 3 days, using 2 cameras, plus the direct feed from their laptop slideshow presentation. We film and edit live, with the intention of uploading the final videos within the next few days after the conference so that they are available online for viewing.

For a fun diversion, we recently commissioned an illustrator, Meredith Randazzo, to illustrate our logo. It doesn't replace our current logo, but compliments it, and we'll use for advertisements and promotional items.
