Here are some photos from our first walking tour. We had a crew of three people working on this. Chris Daniels is working the main camera. Alex Hanson is on the second camera, recording b-roll. And Sarah Gutierrez, an intern from UGA, is working the boom. Add Comment We just got through another year of making videos for sororities to highlight their Philanthropic work. These videos are required to show during Recruitment (or Rush) as a way to remind pledges that joining a sorority is not just for social reasons. We always enjoy working on these videos, and I have great respect for all the sororities and what they do in terms of fundraising and community involvement. The sororities get a lot of bad press, and this is one side of them that the community doesn't get to see very often. It would be nice to share some of the videos we have done, but that is not possible. You'll just have to go through recruitment to see one. We will soon be filming Walking Tours for the Athens Clarke Heritage Foundation. Read about it here.http://onlineathens.com/stories/072511/new_861820550.shtml We just filmed the Flagpole Awards at the Morton Theatre (this is our second year doing this), and you can see the video posted online here And here is another one we filmed for Chastain Creative. He dragged us out there at 5:30 am to get the sunrise shots (which I don't think made the cut), but this was Matt's creative work, and our videography. We really like working with Matt Chastain at Chastain Creative. You have probably heard him on the radio in Athens doing ads for The Urology Clinic. We have begun working with him regularly, as he brings his creative work to us for videography help, so he can focus on the creative part (and the acting and directing). Here is a video he did for BookScouter.com We recently worked with the AAAC to create a video to raise awareness and funds for some new art in Athens, in the form of Bus Shelters. It's a great idea and is part of what makes Athens special. They are kicking off the campaign now, and have posted the video on R.E.M.'s website. http://remhq.com/news_story.php?id=1413 Also on youtube. We just filmed and finished editing this year's Commencement Ceremonies for Clarke Central and Cedar Shoals High Schools. As usual, we filmed it with two cameras and used the sound from the sound board, so everything looks and sounds great. We've provided the school district with a broadcast version so you'll be able to watch it on Charter TV 16. But if you'd like to purchase a copy, we have them available at our office for $5.00 between the hours and 9 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. They are about 1.5 hours long. Please call if you have any questions. Here's a link to a video we filmed for Matt Chastain/Chastain Creative for Drupal Connect http://wistia.com/blog/10-tips-for-looking-great-on-camera/ You, Me and The Bus: We just completed a new video for the Athens Area Arts Council in order to raise money and awareness for the new bus shelters they are installing around town. Hopefully you've seen some of them already - the school bus, the piano, the musical notes - they are all over the place and they really add to the overall good feeling of Athens. Well, those shelters aren't free, and the AAAC needs to raise money to install them. Hence the video. Please visit their website at www.athensarts.org |
