In the past, we have not put any concentration into live production using multiple cameras and a switcher. That is typically the realm of broadcast production. But we recently purchased equipment that allows us to do software based live production that incorporates hardware for the many inputs and outputs. The main advantage of this is that we are now able to get live programs onto the internet almost immediately after the event, using H264 encoding. Our first event was a presentation at the Winterville Depot, that used 2 cameras and a Powerpoint slide presentation which we took from a computer (this was also presented on the internet live using WebEx).
